6-day Kochi Munnar Thekkady Alleppey Cherai Tour

Day 1: Kochi to Munnar
Arrival at Kochi. Pick-up from the airport/railway station and proceed to Munnar (approx. 4–5 hrs), one of the finest hill stations in South India. En route, enjoy a scenic hill drive with cool weather, mist-clad surroundings, and picturesque views of spice plantations, tea gardens, waterfalls, and lush greenery. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Evening at leisure.

Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Munnar from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Visit major attractions such as the Floriculture Centre, Mattupetty Dam, Elephant Park, Elephant Arrival Point, Photo Point, Echo Point, Tea Museum, Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park), Pothumedu Viewpoint, and Blossom Park. Evening free for leisure or optional activities such as herbal massage, Kathakali show, Kalaripayattu (martial arts), and visits to spice shops.

Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar to Thekkady
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady (approx. 4–5 hrs). En route, enjoy scenic hill views and spice plantations, with a visit to an elephant park (subject to availability). On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. Optional activities include Periyar Lake boating (subject to availability and arrival time; the final boating slot is usually around 3:00 pm). In the evening, enjoy programmes such as Kathakali, Kalaripayattu, visits to spice markets, Kashmiri shops, and herbal massage centres.

Day 4: Thekkady – Alleppey (Houseboat)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey, the “Venice of the East.” Board a traditional Kerala houseboat by noon and enjoy a relaxing backwater cruise with views of canals, paddy fields, coconut groves, village life, and bird sightings. All meals (welcome drink, lunch, evening tea with snacks, dinner, and breakfast) will be served onboard. The houseboat anchors in calm backwaters in the evening for a peaceful overnight stay. Houseboat Timings: Check-in 12:00 noon | Cruise 12:00 noon–5:30 pm (lunch break) | Morning cruise 8:00–9:00 am | Check-out 9:00 am.

Day 5: Alleppey – Cherai Beach with Fort Kochi (Sightseeing)
After breakfast, disembark from the houseboat and drive towards Cherai Beach, with sightseeing en route at Fort Kochi, including Mattancherry Palace, Jew Town, and St. Francis Church, along with views of the Chinese fishing nets and heritage streets (time permitting). Continue to Cherai Beach and check in at the hotel or resort. The rest of the day is free to relax on the beach and enjoy the laid-back coastal atmosphere.
Note: Guests who prefer extended beach time may skip the Fort Kochi visit and proceed directly to Cherai.

Day 6: Cherai – Kochi Drop

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Kochi. Optional sightseeing depending on departure time, such as Marine Drive, Lulu Mall, or Kodanad Elephant Training Centre (subject to time and drop point).
Drop at Kochi Airport / Railway Station.
Tour concludes with wonderful memories of Kerala.
