Thekkady / Periyar : Forest
Periyar, also known as Thekkady, is a place with a rich forest and associated region that attracts many nature lovers from different parts of the world to its natural habitats. It is a dense evergreen forest and a home to a wide variety of organisms. It provides an opportunity to explore wildlife through various activities carried out by the Forest Department, with the support of rehabilitated hunters and highly trained forest guards.

Gavi is a dense evergreen forest with many organisms. Those interested in adventure travel through the misty forest trail covered both sides with icy tea, cardamom, streams, dense trees and shrubs, will feel great pleasure in their journey to this forest. Alleppey represents a destination for backwater tourism. It is regarded as the most exciting trip in your Kerala tour package. Along the cruise, one can capture the spectacular views of the lakes, narrow canals, lagoons, mangrove forests, shrubs, vegetable gardens, coconut groves, green and golden paddy fields, fishing, and the life of the villagers living along the waterways. Alleppey also offers one of the quietest beaches in Kerala.
It is a group of lush green islands located on the shores of the Vembanad Lake. You can here ride houseboats and small boats on the Vembanad backwaters and catch bait standing on the coconut groves.
Another attraction of the place is a Bird Sanctuary, which attracts migratory birds from all over the world. Kumarakom is also an exciting experience to take a boat ride through narrow canals that cut through the villages.
Beaches are everything in Kovalam. The greenery on one side and the beauty of the Arabian Sea on the other side are sure to make Kovalam a unique sight. Kovalam has three main beaches separated with rock clipping, namely Howa beach, Lighthouse Beach and Samudra beach. The beaches are calm, clean and suitable for sunbath. Vagamon: Hill Station
