Arrival at Kochi Airport/Railway Station. Meet and greet, then proceed to Munnar (approx. 4–5 hrs), one of Kerala’s most renowned hill stations, celebrated for its cool climate, rolling hills, and vast stretches of tea plantations. En route, enjoy a scenic drive through spice plantations, rubber estates, tea-covered hills, waterfalls, and mist-laden valleys. Short stops will be made at picturesque viewpoints and waterfalls along the way, offering excellent opportunities for photography and refreshment breaks. On arrival in Munnar, check in to the hotel. The evening is free at leisure to relax after the journey or take a gentle stroll around the surroundings, soaking in the serene hill ambience and fresh mountain air.

After breakfast, proceed for a full day of sightseeing in and around Munnar (approx. 9:00 am – 5:00 pm), with optional evening programmes based on your interest. Visit popular attractions such as the Tea Museum (optional), Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Rajamala, Eravikulam National Park, and selected scenic viewpoints offering breathtaking views of the Western Ghats. Enjoy the cool climate, lush greenery, and panoramic landscapes throughout the day. In the evening, you may choose optional programmes such as Kathakali, Kalaripayattu (martial arts), Ayurvedic massage, or local shopping. Return to the hotel by evening. The rest of the day is at leisure.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady (approx. 3–4 hrs), home to the renowned Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of India’s most famous wildlife reserves. En route, enjoy the changing landscapes of hills, forests, spice gardens, and plantations. On arrival, check in at the hotel. The final boating slot at Periyar Lake is usually around 3:00 pm, so please ensure timely arrival to purchase tickets and enjoy the wildlife boating experience inside the sanctuary (subject to availability). Evening at leisure. Optional activities include Kathakali or Kalaripayattu shows, Ayurvedic herbal massage, and visits to local spice markets or Kashmiri shops (direct payable).

After breakfast, check out from the Thekkady hotel and proceed to Madurai, home to the famous Meenakshi Amman Temple, one of the most important temples in India. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and relax. In the evening, visit the temple for darshan and prayers. If time permits, explore the vibrant local markets around the temple.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Rameswaram, crossing the sea via the historic Pamban Bridge. On arrival, check in and proceed for sightseeing. Pilgrimage: Holy dip at Agni Theertham (optional), darshan at Ramanathaswamy Temple, and optional 22-well bath inside the temple. Sacred Sites: Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple, Lakshmana Theertham, Rama Theertham, Jatayu Theertham. Island Highlights: APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial, drive to Dhanushkodi (land’s end & Ram Setu viewpoint, old church ruins). Return to the hotel by evening. 1 night is sufficient for a standard tour itinerary. But for pilgrimage-focused guests (who want relaxed rituals), 2 nights is comfortable.

After breakfast, drive to Kanyakumari (approx. 6–8 hrs), the southernmost tip of mainland India. Visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue. Enjoy the spectacular sunset view over the confluence of the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean.

Early morning visit to witness the spectacular sunrise at Kanyakumari, where the sun rises over the confluence of three great seas. After breakfast, visit the Kanyakumari Amman Temple, stroll along the seashore, explore local shell-craft shops, and visit the Wax Museum (optional). Around 12:00 noon, proceed to Kovalam (approx. 3–4 hrs). En route, optional visits to Suchindram Thanumalayan Temple and Padmanabhapuram Palace. Arrive by late afternoon, check in at the resort, and relax by the beach.

After breakfast, enjoy a full day at leisure in Kovalam. Relax on the scenic beaches of Lighthouse Beach, Hawa Beach, or Samudra Beach, soaking in the tranquil coastal ambience. Alternatively, you may opt for a half-day excursion to Thiruvananthapuram to visit the renowned Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, along with the Zoo and Napier Museum complex.

Day 9: Kovalam to Alleppey (Houseboat)
After breakfast, drive to Alleppey (approx. 5 hrs), popularly known as the “Venice of the East.” Board a traditional Kerala houseboat by noon and enjoy a serene backwater cruise through canals, lagoons, paddy fields, and charming village life. Witness migratory and domestic birds, swimming ducks, coconut palm groves, lush bushes, and vegetable plantations along the scenic waterways. All meals (Welcome drink, Lunch, Tea with snacks, dinner, and breakfast) will be served onboard. Houseboat check-in at 12:00 noon | Cruise until 5:30 pm (with a 1-hour lunch break) | Overnight anchored in the backwaters | Morning cruise from 8:00 am to 9:00 am | Check-out at 9:00 am.
