Cancellation & Refund Policy
This cancellation and refund policy outlines the terms applicable in case of cancellation of travel services booked with Vinu Holidays, ensuring transparency and clarity for our guests.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be informed in writing via email or WhatsApp. Cancellation charges will be applicable based on the date we receive the cancellation request.
The applicable cancellation charges are as follows:
- 60 days or more prior to arrival: 10% of the total tour cost
- 59 to 30 days prior to arrival: 20%
- 29 to 15 days prior to arrival: 25%
- 14 to 8 days prior to arrival: 50%
- 7 days or less prior to arrival / No-Show: No refund will be applicable
Minimum Cancellation Charges
Irrespective of the above slabs, a minimum 10% service charge will be applicable once the booking is confirmed.
Peak Season & Special Bookings
For bookings during peak travel periods and special services, stricter cancellation policies may apply.
This includes:
- Christmas and New Year period
- Long weekends and festival seasons
- Houseboat bookings
- Premium resorts and special packages
In such cases, no refund or limited refund may be applicable, depending on the supplier’s policy.
Cancellation After Tour Commencement
If the trip is cancelled after commencement, no refund will be provided for the unused portion of the tour, including hotel stays, transportation, meals, or other services.
Refund Policy
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed based on the above cancellation terms.
- Refunds will be made to the original payment method
- The process may take 7–14 working days depending on banking procedures
- Any bank charges or transaction fees will be deducted from the refund amount
Non-Refundable Situations
No refund will be applicable in the following cases:
- No-show at the time of arrival
- Early departure or incomplete stay
- Unused services during the tour
- Delays or disruptions due to factors beyond our control (weather, strikes, natural events, etc.)
Force Majeure
Vinu Holidays shall not be held responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes caused due to unforeseen circumstances such as:
- Natural disasters
- Weather conditions
- Government restrictions
- Strikes or political disturbances
In such cases, refunds will be subject to the policies of hotels and other service providers.
