Itinerary
Day 1
Kochi to Munnar
You will be greeted by our representative/driver at your arrival station — Head to Munnar — Enjoy the journey along the winding, hilly roads between the hills and the woods, the picturesque sights, green mountains, captivating waterfalls, vast green valleys, pleasant weather, and exciting activities. Stop wherever you desire to relish the exciting sights and activities. Finally, check into your resort/homestay and relax for the day. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 2
Munnar sightseeing
The sightseeing trip will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 6:00 p.m. Please ensure that you are prepared on time after having breakfast. Our driver will take you to various attractive sites and activity spots. We are confident that you will love Munnar for its stunning landscapes, pleasant weather, engaging activities, and entertainment options. The tourism options in Munnar now include off-road Jeep safaris, massage centres, stage shows, adventure and amusement parks for added entertainment. You will be staying overnight in Munnar.
Day 3
Munnar to Thekkady
Start your trip at 9.00 a.m. after having breakfast. Today, you will be travelling to Thekkady, passing through several breathtaking landscapes that are sure to capture your attention. These extraordinary landscapes, often covered in mist, will make you want to stop your vehicle frequently to take photographs. Once you reach Thekkady, check into your resort and take some time to refresh. Thekkady is the perfect place to purchase organic spices, tea, and coffee. Here, you can find many Kashmiri shops selling rare collections of clothing, antiques, trinkets, jewellery, handicrafts, etc. In the evenings, private parties conduct stage shows in which you can participate. Day 4
Forest related activities
Get started today according to the schedule of the booked program with the forest department. Kerala Forest Department conducts several wildlife-related programs. Choose a program or package that fascinates you. Some packages include your meals as per the duration of the programs. Forest guards will accompany you for your safety and guidance inside the forest. Day 5
Thekkady to Alleppey (houseboat).
To fully enjoy your trip, we suggest beginning your journey at around 7 a.m. The travel time is approximately 4 to 5 hours, and the houseboat check-in time is at noon. Upon arrival, a refreshing beverage will be offered, followed by a delicious lunch prepared on board, providing a taste of authentic Kerala cuisine. As you cruise along, you will be able to marvel at the breathtaking views of the lush greenery, diverse bird species, flocks of ducks, paddy fields, local fishermen gathering shellfish from the shallow waters, groves of coconut palms, vegetable farms, and the small huts of tribes living amidst the waterways with limited resources. These unique experiences are guaranteed to leave a lasting impression while sailing on the houseboat in Kerala. The cruising hours are from noon to 5:30 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break, and from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. the following morning. The package includes a welcome drink, lunch, tea with snacks, dinner, overnight stay, and breakfast. Spending the night on the houseboat allows you to fully immerse yourself in the tranquil surroundings and enjoy a peaceful sleep.
Day 6
Alleppey to Kochi and Cherai
You should be ready on the houseboat at 9 a.m. after having breakfast. Our driver will pick you up and take you to Fort Kochi. This place is full of historical sites and souvenirs from different foreign countries in the colonial era. The Chinese fishing nets, Indo-Portuguese Museum, Princess Street, St. Francis's church, Fort Kochi beach, Mattancherry Dutch Palace, Synagogue, Jew's Street, Kashmiri shops, and the shops with antiques, handicrafts, and curio products are the most popular tourist attractions in this region. After exploring Fort Kochi, you can take a ferry and road to reach Cherai. The Cherai Beach is beautifully decorated with lanterns for night tourists. You can spend the night at your resort/homestay in Cherai.
Day 7
Cherai beach and backwaters
Cherai Beach is a scenic and serene destination that offers visitors a range of activities and experiences. Whether you're looking to relax on the beach, indulge in water sports, or explore the local culture and cuisine, Cherai has something for everyone.
