Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Kochi to Thekkady
Upon arrival in Cochin, you will be welcomed and transported in an air-conditioned vehicle from Cochin Airport or the railway station to your resort in Thekkady. During the drive to Thekkady, enjoy the mountain roads, pleasant weather, picturesque landscapes, and sprawling tea estates, as well as plantations of various spices. Once you reach your resort, check in and take some time to relax. Make sure you are taking a boat trip in the forest. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 2: Thekkady forest sightseeing and activities
Thekkady offers a plethora of activities, both inside and outside the enchanting forest. Opt for an adventurous jungle trek or bamboo rafting to explore the serene beauty of the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, home to diverse flora and fauna. Alternatively, embark on a thrilling Jeep safari to discover spice plantations, rolling hills, and hidden gems around Thekkady. Day 3: Thekkady to Alleppey – Houseboat.

The journey from Thekkady to Alleppey takes over 4 hours. It is advisable to depart by 7 AM to ensure you can board the houseboat by noon or earlier. During the cruise, there will be a one-hour break for lunch, and the journey will continue until 5:30 PM. The houseboat will remain moored overnight, with a one-hour cruise planned for check-out at 9 AM the following day. Several types of houseboats are available, including Deluxe, Premium, and Luxury, with Deluxe being the basic option.
